Operation Manager (m/f)

We have a broad range of products such as ceramic-oxide powders for particular applications, Silicon Carbide ready to press and packing materials and Submicron powder qualities for highest requirements. We offer tailor-made product solutions to our customers and have established our company with applications of highest standards in the market in recent decades. For many years, besides, the intensive cooperation with prestigious research institutes is an important base of the achieved high-class quality standard of our products. With our technology oriented strategy we work continuously to improve our products and establish the bases for new application fields in the future.

You are responsible for the operations management and the production processes. You coordinate and operate the manufacturing processes. You manage the technical employees, the laboratory, the quality assurance and the workshop. You optimize production processes and internal structures. You are responsible for the staff planning in the shift operation, the observance of the manufacturing deadlines and the evaluation and analysis of production costs. You plan the maintenance of the plants and machines and check their implementation in accordance with the regulations. You prepare the substitution of plants and machines as well as the new acquisitions. You work closely with your colleagues in Administration, Sales, Research and Project Management and report directly to the Managing Director.

- Academic qualifications in Process-/, Mechanical-Engineering or related area, qualifications in ceramic or metallic material
- First experience of leading teams in a manufacturing company
- Industry experience in Industrial Ceramics is a plus
- Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and assertiveness
- Working solution-oriented, independent and responsible
- High quality and cost consciousness
- Able to work within deadlines and organizational skills
- Fluent written and verbal English language skills
- High ability to work in a team, loyalty and reliability
